Meet our Instructors

Coach Lindsey
Lindsey has been working at the Dads Club since 2007. She began swimming on summer league swim teams at the age of 4 in the North West Aquatic League.  In high school she played water polo for Memorial and started teaching swim lessons at the Dads Club focusing on Special Needs Children. Lindsey has been the assistant coach for Lutheran High North and is currently one of the assistant coaches for the Spring Valley Dolphins.

Lindsey is in school full time with the pursuits of a Master’s Degree in Business. She loves reading and is an avid baker but even more so loves her Houston sports teams!  GO TEXANS & ASTROS!


Coach Alisha

Alisha is currently in her 2nd year at Dads Club and has taught at other swim schools before joining us. Alisha grew up swimming for Cypress Creek Barracudas, Cy-Falls High school and Fleet Swimming. Before joining the Dads Club family, Alisha coached at Fleet and Fins working and coaching various age groups, along with special needs kids. At Fins Alisha created their pre competitive program which transitioned swimmers from swim lessons onto the FINS swim team and also revamped their summer league.

When she is not working or swimming Masters, Alisha loves playing video games and traveling when her schedule allows it. She also enjoys reading, writing, running and mountain biking!

Coach Lorin


Lorin grew up swimming on USS teams in El Paso, Texas. He qualified and won the 50-meter Freestyle at the Junior Olympics. Lorin swam Master in College while pursuing a Mechanical Engineering Degree in Honors College at the University of Houston. He has volunteered and coached at various teams in El Paso and Houston including Houston Cougars Aquatics. Lorin is a former Head Coach and Co-Founder of Team YES. Currently swimming masters one of Lorin’s goals is to achieve a top 20 national time in the 2017 Short Course Masters Zones Championship. Lorin currently coaches our adults, tri-athletes and our home school group.

            For fun Lorin only kicks during the 50 freestyle in hopes to break 32 seconds. Lorin has two boys which he loves to challenge in their sports of basketball and swimming. When time permits he loves restoring old cars (currently working on a 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado).
