After 28 years of coaching coach Jane retired this past Wednesday. We are very sad to say goodbye to one of our most beloved coaches, but are very happy that she will finally get the time to enjoy being with family and complete her goal of visiting all 50 U.S states.

Coach Jane began coaching at Dad’s back in 2008. Prior to joining Dad’s Club Jane was head coach of Bainbridge Island Swim Club in Seattle. Throughout her coaching career coach Jane worked with all swimming levels, all the way from young beginners to national and Olympic level athletes. Most notably coach Jane coached the Silver sisters. Helen silver went on to become an NCAA division I champion while sister Emily went on to become a 2008 silver Olympic medalist.

Coach Jane’s positive impact on Dad’s Club has been huge. Most of our swimmers had the opportunity to be coached by Jane at one point in their swimming career. She will be greatly missed not only by our swimmers, but also our swim parents, coaches, and Dad’s Club staff.

Thank you Coach Jane

For inspiring, challenging, and encouraging us.

The Success of your many swimmers is a testament to the creativity and dedication that you so generously gave to a sport and a team that will miss you greatly.

We’re sad you’re leaving us,

But we’re happy in knowing that you’re leaving behind a little piece of your heart in every swimmer who ever had you for their coach.
