Wrapping up the 2019 Long Course season for our age group program was the Texas Age Group Swimming Championship, held in Austin, TX. This is the premier meet for young swimmers, as it features the best 14 and under swimmers in the State of Texas. It was a long and grueling meet – 4 ½ days of competition – but Dad’s Club swimmers stepped up in true fashion, stringing together numerous fantastic swims. Competitive swimming is all about reaching the next level of the sport. For two young ladies, they made that happen by qualifying for NCSA Junior Nationals, a rare occurrence amongst age group athletes. Kassidy Kitchel earned her first NCSA cut in the 200 IM and Eloise Williamson notched her first cut in the 100 Fly. Congrats to these two girls on this amazing accomplishment!
