What an incredible meet by our Dads Club swimmers.  TAGS is a prelims/finals meet where you must have qualifying times to compete. This is the fastest purely 14 and under swim meet in the state of Texas.  Dads Club had 30 swimmers qualify in individual events, relays and both in most cases.  The meet was located in San Antonio at the Northside Swim Center.  It started on Wednesday July 26th and ended on Sunday July 31st.  Dads Club finished 7th overall in the state out of over 70 teams that competed.  The girls finished 4th overall with 705 points and the boys finished 9th with 333.5 points.  Stepping up for your team and your teammates was the common theme at this season’s TAGS. It was so much fun to watch our amazing athletes step up to the occasion and come together as a team.  Our kids did a great job in their individual events. We set TAGS records, achieved multiple NCSA and Sectional cuts  but we really came together during our relays.  We finished 1st in 6 relays, 2nd in 3, 3rd in 2 and scored in almost all of them.  This is why we finished 7th in the state because we stepped up as a TEAM. The coaching staff is so proud of our swimmers at every Championship meet. Thanks to all the parents for your support and we look forward to next season. Dads Club Proud!
