With the first short-course meets right around the corner, allow us to remind you of a key obligation we share during such meets: to volunteer as timers.

The club hosting an event will publish timing assignments a few days prior to the meet. Our responsibility varies with the number of swimmers participating, but as a rule of thumb you should look at volunteering for 1 timing assignment per weekend per swimmer. A timing assignment lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours, requires just a bit of attention, and frankly offers the best seat in the house.

This season, we are starting a new sign-up system. In lieue of rolling our own, we are now using a fit-for-purpose service by SignUp Genius.

Email coming from this service have a distinctive orange design.

You will need to create an account first, but then you can easily sign-up for a slot of your choice.

You don't need to dig through your e-mail, because links to sign-up sheets are also posted on our Meets & Results section.
