Five Dad’s Club swimmers participated at the NCSA Summer Jr. National Championships held at the Indiana and Purdue University Natatorium on August 5-9th. Over 100 teams from across the U.S took part in this year’s event.

Brittany Baerg (15), Jack Calderwood (16), Elizabeth Jordana (17), Maddie Robinson (17), and Jack Rogers (17).

Brittany Baerg was the first of three to earn themselves a second swim in the finals. Her time of 35.21 in the 50 breast got her into the D final and currently ranks her 2nd in our Dad’s Club All Time Top Ten List.

Elizabeth Jordana made two finals, both on the 4th day of competition. Her 100 back time of 1:06.10 placed her 31st overall. Her personal best of 1:04.34 in the 100 fly helped her crack the top 30 where she placed 28th overall.

Last but not least, Jack Calderwood joined the fun by qualifying for two finals on the last day of competition. Both of Calderwood’s finals came in two sprint events. His 50 back performance of 27.64 earned him a win in the C final as well as a new open team record. This makes Calderwood the first Dad’s Club swimmer under 28 seconds in the 50 meter back. His effort in the 50 free earned him a place in the B final where he placed 15th overall.

Good job and keep up the good work!
