Congratulations to Meghan Parsons who will be swimming for Bowdoin College (located in Brunswick, Maine) next year! The Bowdoin Polar Bears compete in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and had five swimmers participate in the 2015 Division III NCAA Championships.

Meghan is our 6th senior to commit to a college swim program this year. She joined Dad’s Club after moving to Houston from Columbia, Maryland in 2009 and is a member of the current team record in the 13-14 400 Medley Relay.

Meghan was also a four year varsity member of the Bellaire High School swim team and holds several BHS team records, including the 50 yard freestyle. Meghan’s best events range from 50, 100, 200, 500 free, 200 breast and 200 and 400IM. Her versatility in the pool will be a great asset to Polar Bears.

Meghan was named a Class of 2019 Bowdoin Faculty Scholar. She has not yet decided on a major but is considering Politics and Economics.
