Four years
ago we had two Dad’s Club swimmers earn second swims at their respective Olympic
Trials competitions.
Alexandra Buscher earned her second swim in the finals of the 200 fly at the Canadian Trials held in Toronto. At the time of the meet Alexandra was in her sophomore year at Texas A&M University. Alexandra had represented Canada at the Junior Pan pacific Championships held in Maui a couple of years earlier. fly at the U.S Trials held in Omaha. Michael dual represented Duke University
and Dad’s Club Swim Team. His semifinal race included Michael Phelps and Tom
Shields who both ended up representing the U.S at the Rio Olympics. Michael Miller Lane 8 (bottom of the screen) Other Dad’s Club swimmers competing at the 2016 U.S Olympic trials included sisters Jaimie and Annie Miller who raced in the 50 free. Caleb Duncan and Cooper Wozencraft were set to compete at this year’s U.S Olympic trials before it was postponed to 2021. |
