Landscaping

You may have noticed a little sprucing up about the pools over the past weekend. As part of the Dad's Club Cleanup Day, a team of parents and swimmers worked hard to clean up some of the current flower beds, and add in some new landscaping. Many thanks to the volunteers who helped out.

We planted out a magnolia tree, 33 huge shrubs, and some smaller Texas natives, which were all very kindly donated by The Ground Up - our neighborhood nursery on the opposite side of I-10 from us, at I-10 and Old Voss Road. We were overwhelmed by their generosity, without which this project would not have been anywhere near as successful.

If you are looking for a great local nursery, while they supply landscapers as a wholesale nursery during the week, they are open to the public on Saturdays. (www.thegroundup.com).
