Congratulations to Jack Calderwood

Jack Calderwood has committed to Georgetown University. Georgetown is a private university ranked amongst the best academic institutions in the country; it is located in Washington D.C in the historic Georgetown neighborhood. Georgetown is an NCAA Division I school which competes in the Big East Conference.

Jack’s best events include the sprint freestyles and 100 and 200 backstroke. He will be a great asset to Georgetown’s sprint relays and will also go in as one of the top 200 backstrokers on the team.

Calderwood currently attends Strake Jesuit College Prep and has been part of Dad’s Club for the last 10 years. He first began in our blue training group and is now one of our leaders in Sr. Elite. During his time at Dad’s Club Jack has broken multiple team records, scored at the Sectionals and NCSA Jr’s National championships, qualified for Speedo Jr. Nationals, the Arena Grand Prix and currently holds Gulf and Texas state records. He has also been a UIL Region Champion, State finalist, Scholastic Academic All American, High school team record holder and achieved USA swimming national rankings.

Calderwood plans to major in finance and minor in government.
