Are you ready to swim?

The Marathon is this Saturday, October 27th!

At Dad’s Club

SATURDAY MORNING weather forecast shows a cool but dry start to the day.  Please arrive about 20 minutes before your swim time so that your coach can assign you a lane and your lap counter can get set up.  Bring a chair for the lap counter; they will be given a counting sheet and pen.  Fresh home baked goodies and Starbucks coffee will be available, to keep the lap counters awake and warm!  If you would like to volunteer on the day email Jan Houston: maddhouston@sbcglobal.netGet all the details in the full news article

Because of the large number of swimmers in each group we will have staggered start times.  Remember, please arrive at least 20 minutes before your swim time shown below, so that the coaches can assign you lanes and give you your swim instructions.

Group Start Times   

Senior Elite            8.00am

Bronze                  8.30am

Gold                     9.45am

Blue                     9.45am

Silver                   11.15am

White                   11.15am

There will be multiple swimmers in each lane and each swimmer needs someone to sit at the end of their lane and count laps.  You should have some water on hand for your swimmer.  Make sure that you have towels, and some dry clothes to keep them warm on the ride home.

After the swim each swimmer should come to “Goodie Bag Central” beside the coaches’ office to pick up a snack and their T shirt.

The Active Giving web site will be open till November 30th for donations, so you can continue to reach your goals.  There will be a prize for the two highest fundraisers in each group and a team party for the group that raises the most money.
