The first stop on the Dad’s Club 2019 SC Championship Season tour was Short Course Champs I for our 8 & under swimmers. The meet was held on February 16^th at the Lufkin Swim Center. While quite the distance to travel, Dad’s Club still had a great showing and it turned out to be a very successful meet. The kids did amazing and the coaches enjoyed all the smiles on their faces. Our small but mighty swimmers even walked away with a second place team finish!

While in the developmental stages of the sport, one thing we like to emphasize is personal improvement. We are always striving to be better than we were before, and this meet was no exception. Dad’s Club swimmers posted several best times, but special shout outs to Adler Toro and Violet Williamson for going 100% best times!

Our little guys did so well and the coaching staff is proud of their efforts this season. The future is bright at Dad’s Club!
