Gold, Senior and Sr. Elite 13 &up swimmers only.
The 2014 DAD’S Club Swim Team travel trip will be to the Richard Quick Invitational at Auburn University. Richard Quick was head coach of DAD’S Club from 1965 to 1971. He went on to become one of the greatest college swim coaches in history with 13 NCAA Division I titles. The meet is in memory of Coach Quick who was head coach at Auburn from 1978-1982 and again from 2007-2009.

The Martin Aquatic Center at Auburn University has hosted both the men’s and women’s NCAA Championships and has been rated as the THIRD FASTEST POOL in the United States. The complex houses a total of three pools, two of which are 50m pools.

The Richard Quick Invitational is a great opportunity for our DAD’S Club swimmers to celebrate one of our legendary coaches and swim in a fantastic aquatic center. The meet is a prelim/final format with the TOP 40 swimmers returning for a second swim. This meet will also give our swimmers the opportunity to compete against some of the best teams from the Southeast US.

The team will be traveling by motor coach. There will be two coaches and two chaperones on the trip. Expected budget is between $600-700. This will cover all transportation, lodging, and food.
