This was the first TAGS for
Fernanda Gamez and our four 10 & under boys Burns, Fischbach, McLean and ZuanichGamez, Fischbach, and McLean participated in the relays while Burns and Zuanich competed in TAGS events achieved the previous weekend at Gulf Champs.

Our strongest and most represented age group was the 11-12 girls.  Together they scored an impressive 294 points out of our 363 point total.

In what was arguably our most exciting race of the meet, Clarissa Vincent, Audrey Orange and Ellie McLeod swept the medals in the 11-12 girls 100 breast.  Vincent took the Gold with a time of 1:18.51, Orange the Silver with 1:19.52, and McLeod the Bronze with 1:19.96.

All three swims are well below the Sectionals time standard and currently rank 1st, 2nd, and 4th in the Dad’s Club All Time Top Ten.

The 100 breast was not the only event in which our girls demonstrated their strong presence. On the 3
rd day of competition, six Dad’s Club swimmers raced their way into finals in the 11-12 50 breast. Vincent, Pack, and Orange competed in the A final, while McLeod, Buchman, and See competed in the B final. It was Vincent who came out victorious with a time of 34.86. Her prelim time of 34.78 ranks her 40th in the U.S, All Time 100 list.

The 13-14 boys 400 free relay made up of Cooper Wozencraft, Calyton Bobo, Nicolas Roa, and Cory Stephenson finished 7th overall. Wozencraft went on to place 4th in the 100 free with a lifetime best of 55.34. His new time ranks him 4th in the Dad’s Club All Time Top Ten. Also making finals in the 100 free was Bobo who finished 14th, making him one of only three 13 year olds to place in the top 16. Bobo’s highest placement came on Sunday night, his time of 25.52 in the 50 free won the B final and tied him in 4th place in the Dad’s Club All Time Top Ten.
