Congratulations to Briana Burns, Alexandra Buscher, Annie Miller, Jaimie Miller, Elizabeth Prasse, and Danielle Yoon for placing 15th out of more than 90 teams from in and out of Texas at this past weekend's Southern Zone Sectionals in Texas A&M.

Alexandra Buscher finaled in the 100 free, 1000, 200 back, 100 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM. Her swims in the 100 free, 1000, and 100 fly are new team Records.

  • 100 free (51.26)– 15-16 girls
  • 1000 (10:03.52)-15-16 and Open girls
  • 100 fly (55.98) – 15-16 girls
In the 50 free, Annie Miller finished 3rd in the C final. Her time of 23.94 ranks her 2nd in the All Time 15-16 Dad’s top 10 list.

Jaimie Miller finaled in the 50, 100 and 200 free and in the 200 back. Her time of 23.36 earned her a 4th place finish in the A final.

Danielle Yoon finaled in the 200 back, 200 fly, 100 and 200 breast and 400 IM.

Briana Burns and Elizabeth Prasse who are preparing to compete at the upcoming NCSA Junior Nationals in Orlando joined their teammates in College Station for the relays.

In the 400 and 800 free relay Jaimie Miller, Buscher, Prasse and Yoon joined forces to put together the fastest free relays in Dad’s Club history. Their times of 3:26.62 (400) and 7:29.86 (800) break the two oldest open team records in the books. The previous records were set by Howell, Meyer, Girardeau, and Mungavin at the 1978 Nationals Championships.

This was a very special meet for the Dad's Club ladies. The meet marked the last time Jaimie Miller (attending and swimming for College of William and Mary), Elizabeth Prasse (attending and swimming for Colorado State) and Danielle Yoon (attending and swimming for Boston University) will compete with Dad's Club in a short course meet.
