Tri & Masters Swim Training

Team philosophy

Dad's Club Tri & Masters Swimming is open to adult swimmers (age 18 and over) who wish to improve their swimming to aid in their triathlon and masters training.

Dad’s Club's Tri & Masters philosophy is straight to the point. We believe training smarter through focus on technique, speed and endurance will always yield the best results. Train smart, train hard, and reach your desired performance.

Dad’s Club Tri & Masters will:
  • Provide you with a structured workout, that you can complete with others of similar ability
  • Help you swim more efficiently, faster and improve endurance.
  • Improve your overall fitness level
  • Introduce you to a terrific group of people to work out and socialize with!


  • Fins
  • Goggles
  • Caps (for swimmers with long hair)

These three aspects will be applied to each workout. During workouts each athlete will be placed into groups determined by skill level. PREREQUISITE: Athletes must be at least 18 years of age. All athletes  must be able to swim 50 meters in deep water continuously and without assistance.

Tri & Masters Swim Training
  • $95 monthly includes 12 workouts per week and membership to Dad’s Club Facility
  • Family (2 individuals) $120 monthly includes 10 workouts per week and membership to Dad’s Club Facility 
  • $55 monthly includes one Monday and Wednesday swim workout
  • Family (2 individuals) $75 monthly includes one Monday and Wednesday swim workout
Private coaching $55 for 30 minutes 
Semi-Private (2) $70 for 30 minutes 
Private coaching availability Contact coach (Athletes must be existing members of our Tri & Masters group) Non members can request pvt. coaching via our Swim Lesson program.
Specials Each athlete interested in joining Dad’s Club's Tri & Masters will be allowed entry to an entire training session with no obligation.


Joel Beard - Joel started his coaching career as an assistant club coach in his home town of Illinois. He later became the head coach and lead the local high school swim team. Coach Joel developed many Illinois state champions as well as YMCA national qualifiers during his 6 years in the program. Most recently he was the head age group coach at West Houston Aquatics where he aided in the success of their age group program. Coach Joel has experience with all different age groups from developmental young swimmers to triathlete and masters adult athletes.

Stephen Hall - Stephen Hall is in his 5th year at Dad's Club. He currently coaches the competitive swim team and is the lead coach for tri/masters for the morning and evening workouts. Stephen's experience with this wide range of ages and levels makes him one of our most well-rounded coaches. Coach Stephen was a collegiate swimmer at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California where he was a state champion. He has a bachelors degree in Business Marketing from the University of Houston. Stephen is also a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, and performance enhancement specialist.
